Mrs. Baker served as their auxiliary president and other state offices at the same time. She was the wife of Mr. Elwood Baker, an active member of the Claymont Fire Company.

She served as the 24th President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delaware Volunteer Firemen's Association from 1960-1961.
